Yay! Our first post: We're Brittany!

We've been wanting to start a blog for quite some time now but have failed to do so for many reasons.For instance, Brittany and I tried to meet at Starbucks to jumpstart our blogging. Contrary to popular belief Starbucks does not give you sophisticated writing skills or free wifi. So now that we are finally done with our first semester (ptl) expect a new blog frequently!


Our first post is a joint effort in hopes for you to understand a little bit about us. We're Brittany. On move in day Brittany (BeeMob) points out that we have the same dress, socks, and yep, you guessed it: the same underwear; this was the first of many similarites between us. Since then, we discovered we both:

1. we're gymnastics coaches in high school (this is how we officially met)

2. have an Uncle Gary; our mom's brother.

3. use abbrevs like no other. For example,obv, probs, maybs, jeal, presh, BC, ptl, and many more.

4. are obsessed with Needtobreathe.

5. often sing along to highschool musical soundtracks and various rap songs

6. love long walks on the beach... haha just kidding. Although we do love some trips to Folly Beach!

7. have the same sense of style. I'll be wearing a black shirt and jeans and then coincidentally she'll be wearing a black shirt and jeans. It's kinda embarrassing when we match!

8. have the same mind track. She'll often say things I am thinking. We can finish each others sentences and I can tell when someone is annoying her and she's bitting her tongue to be nice.

9. our initials. BND and BDM so similar that I can wear her monogrammed hat and no one will notice (except for John Solms).

One day at work the button popped off of my pants. I went to the basketball game and hadn’t gotten to tell Brittany because she went to work. Brittany texts me from work saying that her button of her pants came off. WHAT? Brittany the button off of MY pants popped off today. We are the same person.

When Brittany was on her way to Alabama over Christmas break she texted Brittany at the same time that Brittany texted her! 5 hours apart and it still happens.


The List could go on forever but I think thats enough to get our point across: On a regular basis we end up saying "yeah, we're basically the same person."



At first, all the similarities creeped us out. But now we embrace it! Its nice to live with somone who has the same interests, sense of humor, and same size clothes! We laugh together, dance together, sing together, and cry together. But the best of all the similarities is that we both have a strong desire to pursue a loving relationship with our Saviour, Jesus Christ. We're so blessed to have someone who is always there for encouragement and accountability. I wouldn't trade our unique friendship for anything!
